Customer chooses the placement location and confirms it is firm, level and able to bear the weight of a loaded truck and container. Company will place boards under the container on request. Company is not responsible for damage to driveways, curbs, lawns, landscaping, sprinkler lines, septic systems or underground utilities at the location Customer selects, or on the direct path to it. Customer will mark any underground lines before delivery. Customer will keep the container and the path to it clear for pickup.
Weight is determined by the certified scale ticket from the disposal or transfer facility. Weight above the included tons is billed at the overage rate. Heavy materials (dirt, concrete, brick, roofing) may only be loaded as agreed in writing and may be limited to smaller containers for road-weight reasons.
Debris must not extend above the top rim of the container. Company may refuse to haul an overfilled or unsafe load until Customer corrects it, and may charge the overfill fee and a trip fee for the return visit.
Customer will not place any of the following in the container: hazardous waste; paint, stains or solvents (unless fully dried where allowed locally); oils, fuels or antifreeze; batteries; tires; asbestos or suspected asbestos; medical waste; propane tanks; electronics where banned locally; appliances containing refrigerant; [__________] (add items your disposal facility restricts). Company will charge Customer the actual cost of removing and disposing of prohibited items plus a handling fee of $________ per item.
If the container is placed on a street, sidewalk or other public right-of-way, Customer is responsible for obtaining and paying for any required permit unless Company agrees in writing to obtain it for a fee of $________. Customer is responsible for fines resulting from placement without a required permit.
Each day the container remains on site after the rental period is billed at the extra-day fee. Swaps (exchanging a full container for an empty one) are billed as a new rental unless otherwise agreed. Customer will not move, tow or relocate the container.
If Company cannot deliver, swap or pick up because the site is blocked, locked, unsafe or the container is overfilled, a trip fee applies for each unsuccessful visit.
The container remains Company property. Customer is responsible for loss of or damage to the container while it is on site, beyond normal wear, including damage from fire or prohibited contents. Customer authorizes Company to charge the payment card on file for the rental price at booking and, after pickup, for overage, extra-day, overfill, trip and prohibited-item charges shown on the invoice with the scale ticket. Tip: take a timestamped photo of the placement location at delivery and of the load at pickup. Attach the scale ticket to every overage invoice.
